Paris Metro Tickets and Airport Fares 2026

Paris Travel Guide essentials for 2026 centre on understanding ticket types and pricing across metro, train, RER and airport services.

Paris Metro Tickets and Airport Fares 2026

Standard Metro, Train and RER Fares

In 2026, a Metro-Train-RER ticket costs €2.55 for an adult and €1.30 at the eligible reduced fare. An adult Bus-Tram ticket costs €2.05. The Metro-Train-RER ticket permits connections for two hours without leaving the network.

Reduced-fare eligibility is not automatic for all children. Verify your eligibility category before purchasing reduced tickets, as discounts apply only to specific groups.

Airport Tickets and Separate Pricing

The 2026 Paris Region airport ticket costs €14 for an adult and €7 at the eligible reduced fare. Choose this ticket for the covered airport journey instead of an ordinary €2.55 Metro-Train-RER ticket.

An airport ticket and an ordinary Metro-Train-RER ticket cannot coexist on the same Navigo Easy card. Before loading a ticket, check what is already on your card and which ticket you need for the next journey.

Navigo Easy Cards and Payment Options

Navigo Easy is a reloadable smart card for metro, train, RER, bus and tram. Load standard tickets via station machines or a smartphone application.

When planning both airport and city journeys, check which tickets your chosen card or smartphone currently holds. Follow the purchase instructions for that support rather than assuming a separate transaction makes incompatible tickets usable together.
